Dinagyang 2013 Live Stream

The Daily Guardian and Smart Communications, Inc. will bring to Ilonggos and the rest of the world the 2013 Dinagyang highlights in real time and in high definition.

Thanks to Smart's LTE technology, TDG will beam via live streaming the Kasadyahan and Ati-ati dance competition on January 26-27, respectively.

Dubbed the fastest wireless technology in the world today, LTE is a telecommunication standard capable of extremely high-speed data transfers, and is several times faster than present-day 3G and HSPA+ speeds. It is capable of speeds as fast as 100 Mbps, making it ideal for high-speed broadband applications.

The technology allows users to stream high-definition (HD) videos faster, download HD movies in minutes, and play lag-free online games.

Smart offers LTE data plans with speeds of up to 42Mbps and LTE powered devices such as smartphones. It recently made LTE more affordable than ever as it unveils the new Smart LTE Broadband Plan 1299.

“Designed for netizens who want their occasional LTE fix, Smart LTE Broadband Plan 1299 gives even more Filipinos the opportunity to Live Faster and Live More,” said Smart Broadband Internet and Data Services Head Lloyd Manaloto.

“Similar to LTE Broadband Plans 3500 and 1749, Smart LTE Broadband Plan 1299 is capable of speeds of up to 42Mbps so you get the full LTE experience,” he added.

As a special treat for early adopters, Smart LTE Broadband Plan 1299 can be used on an unlimited basis until January 31, 2013. Subscribers also have the option to avail of a Pocket WiFi device for a one-time fee of just P2,000.

The Philippines' first and most experienced LTE operator, Smart partnered with TDG in the 2012 Dinagyang festival to test its LTE technology in Iloilo City through the pioneering live streaming coverage of the annual mardi gras.
